Hiya all .. haven't posted about myself for a while but here goes.
On MTX 25mg and Hydroxy ... plus Amittriptylene and pregabalin , Vimovo etc

Not a lots changed .. still at Darent Hospital , and now they have no RA nurse apparently .. Still doing CAB .. but far from the workplace .
Haven't been migrated yet to ESA .. should have been October 2011 but hey !!

Still doing photography when i can .. and especially now spring has sprung( waits for snow storms now!) .. got a Macro attachment for Xmas that means i can snap indoors when not able to get oot and aboot.

Hoping this finds you all as well as you can be :)

Rich :)

hi Rich,

good to hear from you re yourself, you are so helpful to everyone with benefit etc. issues,

doesn't sound like you have made any great leaps and bounds yet .. was wondering if you are going to be considered for an Anti-TNF, as i was also on Methotrexate ( but had reduced mine down to 10mg from 20mg ) and also Hydroxy. are you due to see a Consultant at all soon.? really is a shambles with not even having a Rheumy Nurse for support.

glad you are still managing to do your CAB work, and hope everything get's sorted for you soon with ESA. it's a lot of worry that nobody needs or deserves to be put through.

nice to hear you are still doing your photography, would be nice to see some pictures as and when, it really did feel spring like today here in Bucks.

i go for my 6 month follow up on Monday since starting Humira. i think i am one of the lucky few who get's seen regularly, i go 3 to 4 months between appointments and i have good contact with Rheumy Nurse if needs be, always get a call back normally on the day one certainly by the next. wish it was the same for all.

do keep us informed on how you are getting on won't you.

Hi Rich

Pleased to hear you are jogging on ...... even if just. Good you can get to the CAB to take your mind off things a bit. I was up at Darent Valley last November and gathered the nurse had left, and instead saw a Dr. Zitko, I was very impressed and he actually offered me physio too and well as carefully going over everything in great detail. I really don t want him to go so sent my praises to the D.V. website, I felt I had to as I don t want him being replaced by another nurse !

Hello Rich#

Good to hear how you are doing . It sounds like you just plodding on though. It is
not good not having an RA nurse how are you meant to manage.

Glad you enjoy your photography still it is a great hobby.

Hope you get sorted soon

Hi Rich

Good to hear from you again. Seems you are still making little if any positive progress with your drug regime. Hope it's managing to keep the RA at bay though and things aren't too difficult for you. Our Trust are looking to take on at least one more Rheumatology nurse practitioner which is excellent news, although just how long that will take is anyone's guess! It's a real shame that there are such vast differences in availability of services and standards around the country. If you fancy moving north we do a fair old chips 'n' gravy!

Hmm, a macro lens, very useful ThumpUp Looking forward to seeing some more photos soon, Smile
